Overview

GeoSpatial systems apply Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology to mission critical applications where visualization, various measurement metrics, and trends and analysis determinations need to be identified from features or phenomena. GeoSpatial Technology:

This service area is often linked to geomatics and involves technologies such as, GIS (geographical information systems), GPS (global positioning systems) and RS (remote sensing) for mapping features used in acquisition, integration and modeling spatially referenced data for purposes of measurement, visualization and various business analyses using map features or other earth phenomena.
